Welcome to the Web site of Hamworthy Harriers.
The Hamworthy Harriers were established in 1987 by a dedicated group of
runners working with the Hamworthy Engineering company in Poole.
Originally the running section of the company’s recreation club, The Harriers philosophy has always been to balance the sport of running with an
active social side and a sense of fun.
The Harriers’ home is the excellent Hamworthy Club in Wimborne, Dorset, where we are fortunate to enjoy one of the best equipped sports and social facilities in the area.
Sporting opportunities at the club range from a 9 hole golf course to a well equipped fitness studio.
Food and drink are available after the run, with a well equipped bar offering everything from a snack to a variety of hot meals.
